There are people who are confidently leading projects, moderating workshops or analysing processes in everyday life - and suddenly one look, one step, one hesitation from a llama throws them completely off course. And that is the beginning of something real.

Why I work with llamas

You can use many methods and tools in workshops, but lamas touch teams on a different level. They are not impressed by titles or eloquence. What counts is authenticity - and that is exactly what the animals sense.

I love this way of working because it's honest. Direct. And incredibly powerful. Lamas don't react to what we say - but to how we are. And this often reveals dynamics in a very short space of time that would take days in traditional settings.

What happens during team building with llamas

My teambuilding programmes at the Lama Oasis are deliberately decelerated. We start with an introduction: What makes llamas special? What can they show us about leadership, trust and communication?

Then it's time to go out: observe, make contact, find the right llama - or not. Because that is part of the learning process. In a safe environment, I guide the team through practical exercises, small challenges and a walk together. We reflect again and again: What is happening in the team right now? Who is taking responsibility? Who is letting go? And how do we deal with uncertainties?

Depth that sticks

What moves me again and again: the quiet moments when people really meet. Without masks. Without roles. Just people and animals - and the team right in the middle. There are no „miracles“ - it is effect through experience.

Animal-assisted team building with llamas creates precisely these moments. And the feedback from the participants speaks for itself: „Our team has never spoken so honestly before.“ - „Now I understand why some things are so difficult in everyday life.“ - „I would never have thought that an animal could show me how I work.“

Who is it for?

My Lama team building sessions are ideal for teams that are looking for real development - not just an event. For managers who are prepared to reflect on themselves. And for companies that have realised that a healthy team culture doesn't start in the head, but in the experience.

Whether as a one-day format or as an impulse lasting several hours: I organise each team building individually - with a clear goal: to create a connection. Between people. And with yourself.

Conclusion: Real. Moving. Animal-assisted.

For me, team building with llamas is not a method - it's an attitude. It's about creating spaces in which people can experience themselves in a new way. In which teams grow. And in which animals become valuable co-coaches.

If you are looking for a team experience with depth, lightness and animal clarity, I cordially invite you:

Come to the Lama Oasis with your team. It will change you.

I admit it: even after all these years as a coach, I am still fascinated by what happens during animal-assisted team building with llamas.
