On this guided llama hike, participants lead well-trained llamas alone or together through the surroundings of the Lama Oasis in Upper Bavaria. The tour is deliberately designed to be quiet and offers space for dialogue, experiencing nature and treating the animals with respect. Familiarisation with the special features of llamas is included, as is a tour of the farm.

Llama trekking in the mountains
More challenging trekking tour with llamas in the surrounding Bavarian hills/mountains. The route includes longer walking distances, ascents and a planned break at a mountain hut or at a selected viewpoint. The offer is aimed at participants in good physical condition who are looking for a more intensive nature and hiking experience with animals.

Yes, visits are by reservation only, as we work with small groups and organised activities to ensure a calm atmosphere for animals and guests. This allows us to prepare your experience in detail and guarantee availability for your preferred date.
You can book your activity via WhatsApp or by phone by letting us know the number of participants, the desired date(s) and the type of activity you are interested in. To confirm your booking, you will be asked to pay a deposit. You will then receive all the details of your visit.
Yes, the activities with llamas, camels and other animals are suitable for children as the experiences are calm, guided and respectful. Children must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult and the guide will adapt the pace and interaction to the group.

Lama Oase is located in the countryside, surrounded by nature, just a short drive from Altötting and about 100 km from Munich. You can reach us by car using the directions in your booking confirmation or your navigation app. The access road around the farm is signposted.
